Alexis D’Aloia, MSW, LCSW

Alexis is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who specializes in working with children and adolescents ages 3–17, as well as supporting their caregivers and families. She is passionate about helping young people and their families navigate challenges related to trauma, attachment and relationship difficulties, and a variety of emotional and behavioral health concerns.

Alexis believes that every child and family has a unique story, and that therapy should be tailored to meet each individual’s needs. She takes a child-centered and trauma-informed approach to therapy, prioritizing connection, safety, and trust within the therapeutic space. By meeting clients where they are, she works collaboratively with children and caregivers to identify meaningful goals and build skills that support emotional growth and resilience.

In sessions, Alexis incorporates a variety of developmentally appropriate tools to support the therapeutic process, including games, activities, and play-based techniques. She believes that play and creative expression can be powerful ways for children to process experiences, communicate feelings, and develop healthier coping strategies.

Her goal is to create a supportive and engaging environment where children feel safe to express themselves and families feel empowered with tools to better navigate day-to-day challenges and strengthen their relationships.
