Kiersten Massa, LPC, LCADC, ACS, CCTP
Kiersten is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and Licensed Clinical Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LCADC) in New Jersey, as well as an Approved Clinical Supervisor and Certified Clinical Trauma Provider. With over ten years of experience in the mental health field, Kiersten works with both adolescents and adults who are seeking support in managing their mental health and substance use challenges. In addition to her clinical work, Kiersten also provides supervision for Licensed Associate Counselors as they work toward full licensure.
Kiersten takes a strengths-based approach to therapy, integrating evidence-based modalities such as Motivational Interviewing, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). Through this collaborative process, she supports clients in gaining deeper insight into their thoughts, behaviors, and experiences so they can create meaningful and lasting change.
Kiersten strongly believes in the philosophy of “do what you can with what you have where you are.” She meets clients where they are in their journey and works alongside them to build self-awareness, resilience, and practical coping strategies. Her goal is for clients to leave each session feeling supported, challenged, and empowered to take actionable steps toward positive change and a healthier, more balanced life.
