Rachel Malpica, M.Ed., LPC, NCC
Rachel is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and Nationally Certified Counselor (NCC) who earned her Master’s degree in Education (M.Ed.) from William Paterson University of New Jersey. She works with children, adolescents, adults, and families from diverse backgrounds, including neurodiverse individuals and those exploring their identity.
Rachel supports clients navigating a wide range of concerns including anxiety, depression, OCD, trauma, ADHD, and autism spectrum disorder. She is passionate about helping individuals better understand themselves, build resilience, and develop practical strategies that lead to meaningful and lasting change.
Rachel takes an eclectic and personalized approach to therapy, recognizing that each client has unique needs, goals, and life experiences. She integrates evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Client-Centered Therapy, Solution-Focused techniques, and behavioral interventions to help clients gain insight, strengthen coping skills, and navigate life’s challenges with greater confidence.
Rachel is committed to creating a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment where clients feel heard, understood, and empowered. She values collaboration in the therapeutic process and works alongside clients to explore their experiences and identify strategies that best support their growth. Her goal is for clients to leave sessions with practical tools, greater self-awareness, and the confidence to take meaningful steps forward..
