About Us

Mindful Intentions, LLC is located in Wayne, NJ and serves Passaic, Bergen and Morris County. We are seeing clients virtually from all over New Jersey. We are dedicated to providing culturally competent, inclusive mental health services to children, teens, adults, couples and families. We utilize an integrative, strengths-based approach in helping our clients nurture self-compassion and “unpack” the major themes in their life that may be holding them back.

My name is Michelle Pichardo and I am the founder and a psychotherapist at Mindful Intentions, LLC. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and a NJ Trauma Certified Therapist. I strongly believe in the healing ability of therapy and the importance of mental health. It is my passion to empower and support others in order for them to make the changes in their life necessary to live the life they want- and deserve.

    Jenny DeSantis is a remote psychotherapist at Mindful Intentions. She is a Licensed Social Worker and Licensed Clinical Alcohol and Drug Counselor. She strives to empower you to embrace change and become the best version of yourself. Jenny is here to offer you the tools you need to get from where you are today to where you want to be.

    Jerome is a Licensed Professional Counselor and a Licensed Clinical Alcohol and Drug Counselor. He offers a collaborative, mindfulness-based, solution-focused perspective for teens, adults and couples looking to make changes in their life. He is available to see clients in-person and virtually.

    Karen is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker specializing as a Child and Adolescent Therapist here at Mindful Intentions. She believes in giving children and teens a voice and helping them learn how to identify and express their emotions in a healthy way. She also sees adults struggling with life stressors, anxiety and depression and is available in-person and virtually.

She has nearly a decade of experience working with adolescents and adults that are learning to better manage their mental health and/or substance use.     Vinci is a Licensed Professional Counselor with experience working with children, teens and adults struggling with depression, anxiety, self-esteem, cultural assimilation, cultural trauma, life transitions, and body image. She is available for remote and in-person sessions.

    Tom is a Licensed Professional Counselor who specializes in treating adults dealing with depression, anxiety and/or substance use. He uses a trauma-informed, strengths based approach when working with clients. Tom is available for remote and in-person sessions.

    Kim is a Licensed Professional Counselor currently working with preteens, teens and adults. Kim is most known for working with the LGBTQ community, those on the Autism Spectrum and clients struggling with anxiety. and interpersonal relationships.

During this phone call, we will go over your unique situation, what you are looking to gain from therapy and how we can help you.
