Teen Art Journaling Workshop

  • Mindful Intentions 1341 Hamburg Turnpike Wayne, NJ, 07470 United States (map)

Do you struggle with friendships, family, or thoughts you feel won’t be heard regularly? Come and explore some creative strategies for creating the life you want through expressive art journaling, which captures your complex thoughts, dreams, and desires.

My method of art journaling involves free-formed watercolor paintings that identify a person's personality, communication, processing style, fears, and other traits that interfere with success in many areas of life. In this art journaling workshop, we will focus on nonverbal expression to unlock the creativity hidden underneath us. This workshop does not require any artistic ability whatsoever. All it needs is the desire to explore one's colorful self and finally have an outlet for emotional expression.

I will walk participants through various lessons incorporating journal writing and art journaling. We will use color to interpret what blocks emotional growth.

Required Materials: Journal or composition notebook. It can be watercolor paper, or regular paper.
