Self Love Retreat

This event is a half-day retreat to focus inward and direct some love and compassion towards ourselves.

We will begin with an hour of Yin Yoga taught by Tara Postigo.

Participants must be able to practice yin yoga on the floor and move from a standing position to postures on the floor.

Yin Yoga encourages the practitioner to find their edge. This edge may be physical or emotional. By holding each pose for 3, 5, or 7 minutes, we work to yield to stillness and gravity. Muscles are intentionally disengaged, and a focus on acceptance is encouraged and cultivated in this practice. This will be a propped class, allowing unique bodies to find an appropriate level of physical sensation in each pose.

Please avoid eating a heavy meal before this practice. All materials are provided, but if you’d like to bring your own yoga mat or blanket, you are welcome to do so. Water is always encouraged.


At 11:30 AM, we will move into our Therapeutic Art Journaling portion of the day.

The Inner Link Therapeutic Art Group is for women 21+ who are ready to nurture their creativity by meeting themselves through Therapeutic Art Journaling.

We will focus on SELF-LOVE journaling prompts to creatively explore our individuality, unleash trapped emotions, and hold space to express what is inside through creative artistic processes.


Creating art can open the door to meeting ourselves fully for the first time.

Creating an art journal is a spiritual experience for setting and following intentions. This workshop will guide you in creating this experience for yourself.

Join me and other like-minded women for a creative afternoon of finding your inner link to your hidden creative soul. In this group, we will learn self-expression techniques through therapeutic art journaling and conversation as a collective.

NO EXPERIENCE NECESSARY!

This class is for all levels. All I ask is that you come with an open mind. Nerves are normal. We all have them. This is a safe space to get to know yourself and make meaningful connections.
